Beauty, skincare, OOTD, travel, hair… yes, and! Melbourne-based fashion designer and content creator Tatenda Luna (Tatenda Muzondo) dives into all the girly things we love to scroll, with a signature fun and feminine spin that keeps us double-tapping (and saving for inspo).
Initially building her audience on TikTok, where she’s amassed around 2.2 million followers and more than 65 million likes, Tatenda has worked with a whole host of incredible brands throughout her career — and is now launching her very own clothing label, Luna Cosima.
Though she’s busy kicking goal after goal and looking fabulous while doing it, we were lucky enough to pin Tatenda down for a quick chat about her trend obsessions, style icons and top accessorising tips. Here’s what we learned from five minutes with Tatenda Luna.
How would you describe your personal style?
I would describe my personal style as romantic and feminine, with an editorial edge and a touch of whimsy.
Who are your style icons?
Currently, it’s Bella Hadid, and Fran Fine from The Nanny.
Which pieces are your favourites from Mimco’s July, August and September collection?
I’m obsessed with the Barrel Mini Shoulder bag. I recently took it to New York and kept picking it up for all my outfits, even though I brought other bags with me. It’s cute, effortless and surprisingly fits a lot!
What is your top styling tip for incorporating pieces from the collection into an everyday look?
I love to match my bag with my shoes, I feel like it’s the easiest way to make a whole outfit come together!
Is there a current trend you’re loving?
I’m loving the slogan tee trend! I’m yet to find one that resonates with me, but when I do you’ll definitely know!
How do you stay up to date with fashion trends?
I’m always aware of what's going on through TikTok, but when it comes to trends or styles that I take inspiration from, I love looking them up on Pinterest, and whether they’re trending or not doesn’t really matter to me — as long as I love them!
What are the three essential accessories in your wardrobe?
A cute shoulder bag, simple gold hoops and sleek pair of sunnies.

The first word that comes to mind is pouch! I remember growing up all the girls had the iconic pouch and I’m so happy that they’re back! I’ve been using mine as my everything pouch that I just switch between bags with. That and the famous Mimco Button Bag of course!
