The humble printed scarf often gets a bit of bad wrap (yep!), but we’re here to revitalise it. No longer just the piece your grandmother wears draped over her shoulders, the printed scarf now has some serious fashion cred... and the ways to wear them are literally endless (see below)!

THE NEW NECK TIE

1. Fold a square scarf into a thin strip
2. Wrap the scarf around your neck once, or (twice) to create a choker-style
3. Knot the ends and turn it so the edges fall from the side of your neck

The difference between looking like an air hostess and a street style star, is all in the detail. Try playing with patterns and tying techniques... as we said, the options are endless.

THE BELT SCARF

1. Choose a lightweight fabric scarf, fold it in half diagonally and roll into a thin strip
2. Thread the scarf through the belt loops of your jeans
3. Secure at the front or side with a small bow

Who needs a belt when you have a scarf?! Forgo your traditional leather belt and try adding a subtle pop of colour to your denim in a few simple steps.

THE BAG SCARF

1. Tie any scarf around the base of your bag's handle or strap (either in a bow, or knot)
2. Carry your bag in hand, cross body or over your shoulder, to show off your newly refreshed accessory

Adding an extra layer of personality to your favourite tote or hip bag, is one surefire way to update it. And it's as simple as one, two, three.

THE HAIR SCARF

1. Tie your hair into a low ponytail and secure with any pony holder
2. Fold a small square in half diagonally and roll the scarf into a thin strip
3. Wrap around the ponytail, leaving enough material to tie a bow

Keep your ponytail low and loose to create the most romantic look.

Summer might be over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t keep that vacation feeling going. Try tying your scarf like a hair ribbon for a modern twist on the traditional turban or headscarf.
