On set with the MIMCO crew

New Zealand model Emma Boyd is the fresh-faced muse of our latest campaign – shot at the incredible Harry Seidler House by Duncan Killick.

Bright, bold and beautiful, the campaign perfectly captures a clash of future, present and past.
Here’s your chance to go behind the scenes.

What is your favourite trend of the season ahead?

My favorite trend for this season is structured mini bags. They’re a really cool 80s/90s trend and look amazing with oversized blazers (with shoulder pads), jeans and a powerful pair of heels.

Favourite campaign look?

It would have to be our Waver Tote (in storm) styled with bright orange stockings and a checked blazer dress – which we had custom-made for Emma, our model.

Luke, Head of Creative

What inspired the location of the shoot?

We wanted to explore the clean lines and shapes of mid century modern architecture and how they work with the organic form.

We were inspired by the connection of past and present and felt that this late 60’s mid-century modern home explores our human connection to nature and modern way of life… this really connected with the mood of the season.

Favourite campaign look?

Hands down my favourite look is the Waver Tote we shot in front of the colourful artwork. Love, love those yellow tights and the 80esque vibes we have going on with this look – amazing!
