FIT IS EVERYTHING

If the shoes don’t feel comfortable when you first try them on, they most certainly won’t feel comfortable after a few of hours. Try on and buy shoes during the day, when your feet are swollen. Walk around in the boutique with the shoes on, to see how they feel.

MIMCO shoes have a slightly padded sock for comfort, and leather lining, which will soften with wear. They also feature castor resin outsoles for comfort and durability.

Insider trick: Put on a pair of sports socks and wear them with your heels around the house for a couple of hours. This will help the leather soften and ensure a comfortable fit.

STAY ON THE BALL

Heels distribute most of the weight onto the ball of your foot, and this is where you’re most likely to feel discomfort after a long day of wear. Offset this with a pair of MIMCO gel insoles. They’ll add extra cushioning, keep your feet from slipping forward, and aren’t visible (even in the strappiest of sandals).

TREAT YOUR FEET

The best thing you can do after a long day in heels is have a relaxing bath (feet and legs will do, but if you’re after the full immersion experience, we won’t stop you).

Soak your feet and legs in a warm menthol bath right after you take off your heels. Menthol has both anti-inflammatory and painkilling properties – a long warm soak before you go to bed is like hitting the reset button.
