Tell us a little bit about yourself, Philippa…

I am a stylist and the Fashion Editor and Market Director at Vogue. I am very lucky to have the opportunity to collaborate with the best of the best and create beautiful imagery for Vogue.

What is the most exciting trend for the season ahead?

A trend that we at Vogue call "Power layers". I think it feels of the moment socially and speaks to a feeling of protectionism but also forging ahead as strong women. It feels empowered.

How would you describe your personal style?

Overall I'm very classic, I love a sense of uniform dressing; at work, I'm always in black, a structured blazer and mid length skirt are my go to. On the weekend it’s pretty easy going, jeans, t-shirt and leather slides.

Top three style tips for Spring outfitting?

1: Put as much focus on your accessories as you do the look. A good accessory can make or break an outfit. 2: Wear Colour! 3: Add some sparkle via jewels, handbag or a great statement shoe.

When it comes to dressing up: Less is more or more is more?

Personally, less is more. But I love when I see women who have the confidence to wear more is more; especially when it comes to accessories. Some of my favourite women in fashion history like Iris Apfel and Diana Vreeland come from the school of more is more.

Accessory you can’t live without?

Sunglasses. Classic black of course.

Top MIMCO accessory pick from the shoot?

The Sublime Tote because it’s roomy and functional but doesn't compromise on style.

If you had to choose one ideal “investment piece” what would it be?

A great handbag of course!
