Since humble beginnings in 1996, our MIMCO designers have been at the heart of everything we do. And collaboration has always been a magic ingredient in bringing our collections to life.

Born from the desire to create a unique experience between our design team and our wider community the MIMCO Design Project – an open call to re-imagine the designs and concepts behind some of our most iconic accessories – launched in June, 2016.

2016 brought with it over 100 entries, all hopeful of designing MIMCO’s next iconic travel bag.

From Javier Bermejo (the winning designer of the second iteration of the project), to our talented
MIMCO HQ team and finally the skilled artisans who crafted it, our Manifesto Tote seamlessly blends the spirit of travel & adventure with a fully functional piece of wearable art.
