What was it like shooting with Soo Joo on set for MIMCO?

Soo Joo was a dream to shoot. It’s always such a pleasure to shoot an international model that has worked with so many great photographers. They have such a diversity of looks and can really take on any character you need for the shoot.

How did you get to where you are today?

Hard work - the fashion industry’s not as glamorous as everyone thinks, but my life does look perfectly fab on Instagram (haha)!

What’s your life mantra?

Life’s too short

What does style mean to you?

It means feeling confident about what you wear and looking effortlessly chic.

Which women do you consider to be the most positive influences on your career and/or life?

There are so many, style icons like Carine Roitfeld, Jane Birkin, Francoise Sagan, Lee Radziwill and my namesake, Romy Schneider. I also love the way the French dress, and am always inspired by 60’s ‘new wave’ European films I watch.

Do you have a hidden talent?

I can draw, speed read, and I think I’m a pretty good dancer! I always wished I could sing though.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

You can achieve whatever you want in life, the hard thing is knowing exactly what you want.
